this beautiful baby boy,
randy, was born on august 7, 1953, while our family lived
beside route 66 and next door to the internationally famous
old round barn of arcadia, oklahoma. our parents, cliff
and edith cypret, owned the store that they named cypret's
general merchandise. all four of us children in the family
were truly "route 66 kids", but randy was our
baby. this photo was taken when he was approximately seven
months old. it has also been restored and reproduced in
photo form, as you will find in our photo section that follows
the postcard thumbnails.
